This weight reduction, which partly affects unsprung weight, provides benefits similar to lightweight alloy wheels. In addition, Whiteline has optimized the geometry with -0.3 degrees camber and +2.5 degrees caster, improving wheel alignment and therefore driving performance.
The increased caster improves dynamic negative camber on the outer wheel during cornering, providing better grip without the wear associated with static negative camber. At the same time, it improves traction and the self-centering effect in the steering wheel. The result is a significant improvement in front-end grip and handling.
Whiteline's rear-mounted bushing combines superior mechanical properties with a high-quality precision-machined bearing that ensures smooth movement of the arm as the wheel moves up and down. It is complemented by a front bushing with an oversized, heavily loaded crush tube, resulting in dramatic improvements in steering precision, especially during hard cornering.
