Designed for the challenges of nature

The speakers feature a one-piece polymer basket designed to stand the test of time, even after long exposure to sun and salt. Rubber surrounds provide superior protection and are more reliable than foam. The gridded tweeter protects the woofer motor structure from sea spray and other elements.

JBL’s standard for reliability

The speakers undergo an extensive testing process that would destroy less durable speakers. JBL freezes, bakes, shakes, and runs them at full power for days on end. For marine speakers, intense salt and UV tests are added to ensure they deliver many years of enjoyment.
