Frequently asked questions
Installing Bilstein B12 can mean an improved balance between driving dynamics and comfort. Since the springs are designed to lower the car's center of gravity, you will experience a more stable and precise drive, but this can also mean a slightly firmer suspension on uneven roads.
Yes, the installation requires special tools and some experience, as it is classified as 'Expert' level. It may be a good idea to have a professional mechanic assist you if you have not worked with suspension systems before.
The TÜV approval ensures that Bilstein B12 has been tested and meets strict safety and quality standards. This can give you extra peace of mind that the product not only improves performance but is also reliable and safe to use.
It depends on what other modifications you have made. Although Bilstein B12 is designed to work effectively with your Volkswagen Golf V, it is always recommended to check with a professional to ensure that all components are compatible.
